Bras are normally delicate piece of clothing which are sensitive to washing and sweating. Bras are prone to get worn out faster due to washing them in a washing machine. To improve the life of your bra, you should always wash your bras with hand and let them air dry by hanging on cloth hanging cable. Do not use spinner/dryer to dry the clothes because it can weaken the fabrics of bras. Let the water drip by hanging the bra on a wire.
Normally, women do not take care of the bras after they get a couple months old. They wash it in washing machines and spin it in the dryer which destroys the fabrics and cause the bra straps to become lose. The shape of the cups gets deformed and it does not fit your body or breasts even if you hook it on tightest fitting. This is the time when you decide to throw away your bra because it is no longer usable. But you save your bra and your money by doing a little effort.
- Rip the threads and seams of the hooks from the both sides using scissors or seam ripper.
- Cut your bra from both sides from where you have removed the hooks. Cut it half inch from each side.
- Put the hook again ¼ inch on the both sides using the needle and thread.
- Make the stitches strong by repeating the stitches 3-4 times.
